About

Iqra recently completed her PhD in Computer Science at the University of Manchester, where her research focused on privacy-preserving machine learning, authorship attribution and trustworthy AI. Her work combined techniques from linguistic analysis, stylometry, deep learning, and uncertainty quantification to develop models that are more interpretable, robust, and adaptable across diverse domains, including cross-genre, cross-lingual, and AI-generated text scenarios.

She is currently a Research Fellow at the IN-CYPHER research programme at Imperial Global Singapore, where her work focuses on building robust benchmarks and evaluation frameworks for privacy-preserving synthetic data generation, particularly in domain-specific settings such as healthcare. She is continuing to explore ways to bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI technologies and real-world deployment needs, with a focus on privacy, fairness, and trustworthiness.
