About

The Artificial Intelligence and Text Mining for Social Good (ARTEMIS) Research Lab is based in the Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Text Mining Group of the Department of Computer Science at the University of Manchester. It is led by Dr Batista-Navarro.

Often symbolised with a bow and arrow, Artemis is the Greek goddess of hunting. These symbols represent the ARTEMIS Research Lab's quest for targeted, AI-based solutions to societal problems, while uncovering actionable insights within unstructured data.
