Gavin Abercrombie is an Assistant Professor in the Interaction Lab at Heriot-Watt University. His research focuses on socio-technical issues and human aspects of NLP. He is Co-I on the EPSRC project Equally Safe Online (https://sites.google.com/view/equallysafeonline/home), and is a founding organiser of the Workshop on Perspectivist Approaches to NLP (NLPerspectives; https://nlperspectives.di.unito.it/).
