Ayuba Dauda is a PhD researcher at the University of Manchester, specialising in natural language processing (NLP) for low-resource languages. He is currently working on the development of transfer learning techniques for hate speech detection in low-resource Ethiopian languages. Ayuba is a recipient of the prestigious Africa Futures Doctoral Scholar Award, a funding scheme that supports African students in conducting impact-driven research.
